Welcome Back! Hope everyone had a great week-end!
We will be continuing to work on our Christmas Around the World Projects. Students have chosen a country and formed their own groups. They have been researching and getting organized to start their backboards. All groups should have a backboard in the classroom by Monday. We will be presenting on Friday, December 16 and Monday, Dec. 19.
In math, we will be finishing our chapter on large numbers and working with decimals. We will be having our chapter test on Friday, Dec. 9.
We will be continuing our "Working with Words" this week, with our ten word test on Friday. This will be our last test until after the Christmas break.
We will be completing our Microscope labs this week and starting our final project for the Unit~ Diversity of Living Things. Students will be organizing all information with the Kingdoms in a graphic organizer on the computer and presenting this to the class. Students will have the option of working with a partner or on their own.
I would like to ask students to bring in a favorite Christmas story book, if they have, to share will the class. I will be sharing some of my favorite read aloud the next couple of weeks as well.
