Happy New Year!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and peaceful Holiday Season and is ready to get back to work!
We will be continuing to work on Ratios in math this week. I am planning a short quiz on Friday.
We are starting a Book Club in Language Arts. I will be reading "Tide Turner". This is fantasy genre in the unit "Heroes of Another World". Students will also have a chance to read a fantasy book in small groups. We will be focusing on Memoir writing this week too.
We will be finishing our unit in Science this week, as well as our inquiry into other students projects on Christmas Around the World.. These will both be completed by Friday.
We will not be having a Working With Words test this Friday as we are going to focus more on prefixes and plurals.
Remember to bring fresh gym clothes for Tuesday!
